Selena Kelly is a London-based creative, packing a punch with her directing, writing and coaching services for stage and screen, wherever stories need to be told…

Welcome to her world!

In tech at Guildford School of Acting

Writer, Director, Teacher, Drama Facilitator

Irish-born, London-based, I am a director, writer, teacher and drama facilitator. I have directed large-scale ensemble pieces, youth theatre, children's theatre and more intimate new writing pieces that explore stories of the underrepresented, the misunderstood and the disenfranchised. I particularly enjoy collaborating on devised pieces and I have a passion for breathing new life into contemporary plays and overlooked classics. When not directing or writing, I have coached learning disabled and neurodiverse actors for high-profile performances at Leeds Playhouse, The Old Vic and The Kiln Theatre. I have also supported actors in preparing for self-tapes and other auditions.

“Selena has bucket loads of charisma, talent, energy and passion for teaching and inspiring a broad range of young people, disabled people and professional performers in theatre making skills.”

Nick Llewellyn, Artistic Director Access All Areas Theatre

Making is just as much a part of the process for me as the final outcome. My work has always been a collaboration and a fusion of art forms.
